We’re still one week away from the “true” start to the esports on-season (check out our calendar to see the insanity that begins on the 24th), but that won’t stop us from getting excited about the first million+ dollar prize pool weekend of 2020. Read on for our top picks for what to look out for on Juked.gg this weekend.

TOP-TIER: DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major

Dota 2 DreamLeague on Juked this weekend

Dota 2 takes the stage as 2020’s first esports major

We’re busting out the big guns this weekend as the DreamLeague Season 13 finals kicks off in Leipzig, Germany.

Two teams from each of Dota 2’s strongest regions have qualified to get here, like Team Liquid, Invictus Gaming, Evil Geniuses, Na’Vi, defending champions of DreamLeague Season 12 Alliance, and the recent WePlay! Bukovel champions Nigma. $1,000,000 and Dota 2 Pro Circuit points are on the line.

Leipzig’s Group Stages start on the 18th (Saturday) with matches running every single day until the grand finals on Sunday next weekend. If that sounds like a lot, well it is! Luckily we’ve got every single match for you on Juked.

EPIC: FGC, Smash, and FIFA, oh my!

Fighting Game Community’s Frosty Faustings

Frosty Faustings returns for the Anime Fighting Game Community

This weekend FGC fans will brave the harsh winter in Wheeling Illinois for the 12th edition of Frosty Faustings.

This being a FGC event and all, you’ll see the usual suspects like Tekken and Street Fighter, but this tournament series is more known for the somewhat niche anime FGC genere with headlining titles like Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, UNIST, and a SNK World Championship qualifier for Samurai Showdown to boot.

FFXII has official tournaments in 30 games (yes, you read that correctly) and even more as side tournaments. Luckily, you need look no further than Juked to find every single stream and schedule in one place. We got you.

Smash Bros. Ultimate esports continues on Juked

Glitch 8 will set the tone for Smash Ultimate’s 2020 season

As far as Smash goes, all eyes are on Genesis 7 which takes place next weekend, but Glitch 8 will set the stage for who has momentum leading into Ultimate’s 2020 season.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 2 years, these names should be familiar:

TSM Tweek
Liquid Dabuz
PG ESAM
Rogue Light
TG MVD
Liquid Hungrybox

Some notable players are missing, namely eU Samsora, NRG Nairo, and MkLeo, so this one is more or less anyone’s tournament to win. Tune in to find out who’ll take the win!

On a related note, looks like Byleth is the next Ultimate DLC character. Neat.

Competitive FIFA continues on Juked

An important stage in the $200,000 FIFA FUT Champions Circuit

Attention FIFA 20 fans — the FUT Champions Cup moves into its third stage this weekend, January 17th-19th, starting with a swiss stage, moving into a finals bracket on the 19th. This is a critical part of the $200,000 FUT Champions Circuit, so footie fans won’t want to miss out. You can catch the full schedule and all the streams over at Juked.

All for now, thanks for reading Juked fam ❤
