Hello! Today I’d like to to share with you some new useful words and phrases that I have recently learned.
- awe-inspiring — causing you to feel great respect or admiration
- vibrant — energetic, bright, colorful, and full of life or excitement
- arid — very dry and without enough rain for plants
- altitude — height above sea level
- predominantly — mostly or mainly
- affiliate — to have a connection with or support a larger organization or group
- to be second to none — to be unsurpassed, to have no equal
- culture vulture — consumer of cultural values; one who flaunts his love for art, literature
- secluded — quiet, private, and not near people, roads, or buildings
- outrageous — unacceptable, offensive, violent, or unusual
- tumultuous — very loud, or full of confusion, change, or uncertainty
- craving — a strong feeling of wanting something
- boundless —seemingly endless or unlimited
- satiate — to completely satisfy yourself or a need, so that you could not have any more
- mingle — to move around and talk to a lot of people, especially at a social event
