Hello! Today I’d like to to share with you some new useful words and phrases that I have recently learned.

  1. awe-inspiring — causing you to feel great respect or admiration
  2. vibrant — energetic, bright, colorful, and full of life or excitement
  3. arid — very dry and without enough rain for plants
  4. altitude — height above sea level
  5. predominantly — mostly or mainly
  6. affiliate — to have a connection with or support a larger organization or group
  7. to be second to none — to be unsurpassed, to have no equal
  8. culture vulture — consumer of cultural values; one who flaunts his love for art, literature
  9. secluded — quiet, private, and not near people, roads, or buildings
  10. outrageous — unacceptable, offensive, violent, or unusual
  11. tumultuous — very loud, or full of confusion, change, or uncertainty
  12. craving — a strong feeling of wanting something
  13. boundless —seemingly endless or unlimited
  14. satiateto completely satisfy yourself or a need, so that you could not have any more
  15. mingle — to move around and talk to a lot of people, especially at a social event
