No zero days is the concept that you work towards your goal or goals every single day in some shape or form.
It means that every day you are doing something that will benefit you or push you closer to your end goal, whether that is watching a video on how to do something or reading an inspirational book.
I know I only gave two examples, but there are tons more that might be more applicable to you.
Maybe one of your goals is to learn to cook homemade recipes.
In that case, every day you should be watching videos about it, reading about, practicing it, or maybe talking to friends and family about how they do it.
If you’re goal is fitness, you would certainly be doing some form of aerobic or anaerobic exercise, listening to a podcast, or looking up healthy meal plans.
If you’re learning development or want to get better at writing, kind of like me, and you want to implement ‘No Zero Days’ then you would be coding and writing every single day.
I’m not perfect.
I don’t think you are either, that’s part of being human.
I missed a few days. I’ve had some Zero Days.
In the past four days, I had two Zero Days on my writing goal (to write daily) and three zero days on my coding and development goal.
I know I can’t actually make up for lost time; but I’m certainly going to try.
The self-proposal I am going to place on myself is to do what I didn’t do on my Zero Days, and what I’m doing for my No Zero Days.
I’m going to take a double-portion of writing and coding.
It’ll be good for me.
Maybe I’ll make up for some lost time, maybe not.
