This is What To Do to Guarantee a Mansion in Paradise
And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah — Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, they are dwellers of Paradise, they will dwell therein forever. — Qur’an 2[Al-Baqarah]:82
We all dream of paradise, although we’ve never seen it. As Muslims, we believe it exists beyond doubts. In paradise are things which the eyes have never seen, nor the mind conceived. Paradise is the merchandise of Allah and it doesn’t come for cheap. Allah has made paradise as a reward for those who believe, do good deeds and remain steadfast. It’s only with hard-work, discipline and perseverance that paradise is earned. This is because the one who will enter paradise will have to deny himself of desires, lust and wants.
This piece enumerates a few things if well executed with a sincere heart and believe in Allah, will guarantee you a mansion in paradise. These are narratives from the one who was sent with the truth and as a mercy to the world.
Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for one who leaves arguments even if he is right, and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lies even when joking, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character excellent.” — Abu Dawud
- Having an excellent character.
- Not telling lies even while joking.
- Abandoning argument even if you’re correct.
Abu Shuraih reported: He said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something that will guarantee Paradise for me.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Speak kind words, offer peace, and feed the hungry.” — Ibn Hibban
4. Speak kindly to people.
5. Make peace amidst the people.
6. Feed the hungry and needy.
Ubadah ibn As-Samit reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Guarantee for me six actions and I will guarantee for you Paradise: Be truthful when you speak, keep your promises when you make them, fulfill the trust when you are trusted, guard your chastity, lower your gaze, and restrain your hands from harming others.” — Ahmad
7. Be truthful in your speech.

9. Fulfill the trust and do not betray them.
10. Guard your chastity with all you can.
11. Lower your gaze and be modest.
12. Do not harm people with your hands.
Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He who can guarantee for me what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, then I can guarantee for him Paradise.” — Bukhari
13. Safeguard your tongue from evil speech and unlawful consumption.
14. Protect your private parts from sexual immoralities — adultery and fornication.
Thawban, the freed slave of the Prophet, reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Who will guarantee for me that he will not ask people for anything and I will guarantee for him Paradise?” Thawban said, “I will,” and after that he would not ask anyone for anything. — Abu Dawud
15. Be self-sufficient, refrain from asking people for favor or charity.
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever loves a man for the sake of Allah, then he should say: I love you for the sake of Allah. They will both enter Paradise together. He whose love is greater will be raised in status over the other; he will be joined with the one he loved for the sake of Allah.” — Al-Bazzar
16. Love each other for the sake of Allah.
Aisha reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, whoever has been given the quality of kindness has been given his portion of good in this life and in the Hereafter. Maintaining family ties, good character, and good treatment of neighbors will build their heavenly abodes and increase their life spans.” — Ahmad

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Noble character is among the deeds of Paradise.”
19. Be noble in morals and character
Anas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When the worshipers stand to be held to account, a heavenly caller will announce: Let them stand to be rewarded by Allah. Thus, they will enter Paradise. A second caller will announce: Let them stand to be rewarded by Allah. It will be said: They are those who forgave people. Thus, so many will stand and enter Paradise without account.” — Tabarani
20. Show forgiveness, overlook people’s fault and have mercy on others.
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He will not enter Hellfire who has the weight of a seed of faith in his heart. And he will not enter Paradise who has the weight of a seed of arrogance in his heart.” — Muslim
21. Keep faith in your heart and avoid being arrogant.
Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever clears an obstacle from the road will be awarded a good deed, and whoever is awarded a good deed will enter Paradise.” — Al-Haythami
22. Remove harmful things from roadsides and do good deeds.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The poor Muslims will enter Paradise before the rich by half of a day, the length of which is five hundred years.” —
23. Be humble with your wealth and contented with penury.
Be keen on preserving your belief and remain steadfast upon it. Protect yourself from blasphemous actions and die not except in the state of belief. This is one surety that guarantees you to be among the dwellers of Paradise. Be fast and quick to perform what Allah has made obligatory on you. As much as you can, abstain from evil, sins and iniquities. Keep to the five prayers, observe fasting, give charity, treat your parents kindly and connect with the kins. If you keep to theses, in sha Allah you will be among the dwellers of Paradise.
