This mini float switch, notable for containing no mercury, is designed with a right-angle configuration, allowing for flexible placement at any desired height within the tank.

A float switch is a device designed to monitor the liquid level within a tank. Its functionality extends to triggering actions such as activating a pump, indicating a status, sounding an alarm, or controlling other devices. These switches find applications across various domains, including hydroponics, saltwater and freshwater tanks, gardening, aquariums (for power head control), pet bowls, fish tanks, filtration systems, heating systems, pumps, ponds, basement alarms, boats, air conditioning drain pans, pressure washers, carpet cleaning machines, reef aquariums, fluid control mechanisms, ice machines, coffee pots, marine environments, automotive setups, tropical fish tanks, evaporator coils, condensation lines, relays, and numerous other projects.

It works with Reed Switch.

In the video, you can see why this device uses reed switches internally.
