Letter from the CEO — Stephanie Xiang
As the Junior Economic Club of Toronto faces the unprecedented circumstances of our world today, we must remain confident in our ability to capitalize on the new possibilities presented by a virtual year.
First, allow me to express my gratitude to you.
To each and every person who has attended a JEC event in the past, to each and every person who will attend a JEC event in the future.
To those who have joined us in our undertaking of new initiatives, looking towards a world where your social and economic circumstances do not hinder your pursuits.
To those who have supported us by sharing their experiences, time, resources, and space.
To all the youth in the GTA who have allowed the organization to prosper in the five years since inception.
Second, allow me to promise you our commitment to the community.
We have already hosted our inaugural International Fall Forum, bringing together over 200 students from across the world.
Later on in the year, we look forward to providing students with the chance to engage in an artificial intelligence program and compete in a business case challenge, similar to the one that had been planned previously.
Third, allow me to ask for your support in the coming nine months.
The basis of the Junior Economic Club of Toronto rests in our mission: to provide equal opportunity through financial literacy.
With the changing times and necessity of adaptation, we have expanded to the broader field of business management as a whole, as well as the intersection of technology with the two.
We hope that you will consider taking part in and benefiting from the initiatives that the JEC is working hard to provide you with, as the fundamental purpose of this organization lies in the enrichment of its audience.
All the best,
Stephanie Xiang
