When we burnout

Burnout, what is it?, a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. Simply, burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress.

There’s a few things we can do if we were burnout:

  • Look back what have we done to achieve our goal
    Whether it’s just one footstep of turtle, or four full speed footstep of cheetah, we’re on our way to our goals, we can appriciate ourself. Because it is a progress towards our goals.
  • Do a dopamine detox
    Dopamine dettox is a person avoids dopamine triggers for a set period of time, anywhere from an hour to several days. Dopamine is a chemical released in the brain that makes you feel good. But, sadly, dopamine doesn’t know wheter it useful to us. So, doing dopamine detox can ‘reset’ our brain, and start over with fresh mind.
  • Get our thoughts out
    We need to get out your thoughts, because with that, we can empty and calm our minds, so we can think smoothly again, oh yes, the person we tell about our thoughts, also sometimes gives us advice or solutions, that is very helpful.
  • Listening to a music that feels right on our emotions
    Listening to music is also a way to release our emotions when we are burnout. Try to follow or even sing along to the songs we hear, because by listening and speaking we become more able to release our emotions.
  • Watch something
    We can watch some movies, or go somewhere that we are comfortable with, so that we are entertained, because we see the other side of life, and that is where we can reflect on improving our lives.
  • Rearrange the factors to achieve our goals
    For whom?, if we achieve our goals, how much effort have we put into achieving our goals?, what will we do if we have achieved our goals?. Let’s keep the spirit to reach our goals!
