Juno has been selected to join the World Economic Forum’s latest cohort of innovative startups working on tech solutions for sustainable forest management.

We’re honored to be recognized for the Juno system, which powers the rapid creation of sustainable housing by leveraging mass timber components that can be manufactured at scale.

Fellow honorees include AirForestry Cambium Carbon CIOL® AS Divine Bamboo, Easy Housing Fairventures Social Forestry GmbH, Folia Materials, Lignum, Timber Finance Initiative, Urban Machine, and Vibrant Planet.

Juno buildings are currently trending toward carbon neutral — a radical reduction when compared to the equivalent residential apartment complex. And, on average, Juno designs use 45% less electricity than building codes require. The improved energy efficiency and embodied carbon of our designs make it easy for residents to live care-free and carbon-free.

According to the World Economic Forum, “Healthy forests are instrumental in addressing some of the most pressing issues of the day: slowing climate change and the loss of biodiversity, advancing social equity, and providing sustainable and renewable resources.” As such, we’re committed to designing buildings for happier and healthier communities, cities, and the planet.
