Jur will be participating in the most important events for blockchain and legal tech innovators in 2019. We are interested in contributing to events where thought leaders gather to cooperate in shaping the next digital revolution and connecting the blockchain to the real world. On the 7th of February (from 17:00 to 20:00), Jur participated in a roundtable discussion presented by BLB Legal Studio in Rome, Palazzo Origo, via di Torre Argentina, 21.

Scenarios, proposals, and strategies between public and private sectors.” Our CTO Luca Yesupatham Daniel illustrated the technical aspects of implementing ADR solutions on the blockchain for an enthusiastic audience.

Jur will take part in the Technological Innovation and Law (TIL 2019) Intensive course, organized by The University of Pavia, from 4 to 8 of February. Our CEO Alessandro Palombo will speak on February 8th from 9:00 to 10:15 am about the topic of “Blockchain and Decentralized Dispute Resolution Systems.” The presentation will take place in Room Barbara Rossi, Piazza Collegio Ghislieri, 5.

On March 21 and 22, Jur will participate in the conference “Novelties in Contract Law: Smart Contracts & Assignment of Claims in Trier” organized by the Academy of European Law which will take place at the ERA Conference Centre, Metzer Allee 4, 54295 Trier (Germany).

This conference will analyze the most recent developments in contract law as it relates to technology and the forthcoming EU rules on third-party effects of assignment of claims and its impact on financial industries, such as factoring and securitization.

Throughout the month of March 2019, Jur will be contributing to the 2019 Computational Law and Blockchain Festival, a worldwide online event bringing together coders, designers, lawyers, policymakers, researchers, and students to co-create the future of law, legal practice, and policy for blockchain legal technology.
