Juro nominated for the LegalGeek award

Last year around this time, I was on stage competing for Juro to win a LegalGeek award. We won, and straight after the event I remember calling my mother to tell her the good news:

“I’ve won an award!”

“Great news! What was it for?”

“Best document automation provider.”

A lawyer collects his award…

This year, we are nominated again (based on popular vote — thanks customers!) and I will be competing on stage tomorrow, alongside some legal tech giants, mainly to recreate the sheer bemusement in mum’s voice on hearing the news.

What a year it has been.

In just 12 months, our customer base has grown by 700%, we have hired some of the brightest designers, technologists and BD specialists out there and been featured in (among others) TechCrunch, The Times, The Guardian and Forbes. Juro is thriving in an industry that is seeing rapid change and our vision that the clunky world of contract management can be radically improved through artificial intelligence and legal design has come to fruition.

Pavel and I have been proud to be supported on this journey by a world class suite of investors including Point Nine Capital, Seedcamp, the GC of Zoopla and the founders of Gumtree and Indeed.com. And we hope to make them (and our mums) proud tomorrow.

LegalGeek has done the unthinkable and made legal sexy. We hope to see you at our stand tomorrow one year on…: )

Probably the world’s best legal tech event
