Blogging is not just about Instagram or social media. The blog is also one of the blockchain platforms. If you are familiar with cryptocurrency and blockchain so it will be much easier to start a blog in the blockchain.

In this article, I will introduce to you one of the most famous content platforms in blockchain, and I will tell you how does it work and how much money you can earn there.

Steemit.com is one of the first and the largest content platform based on blockchain. In March there was a fork in steemit, after which was created a new platform hive.blog. So, everyone who had an account on steemit got an equal amount of HIVE tokens on a new platform. In a word, steemit users got free money. But that is too much info the first time. You will learn about it by yourself when you start to work with that platform.

So, steemit still exists but many users moved to a new platform Hive, so I suggest to start with it or to create accounts in both platforms. Why? Because there are many other platforms which are still related only to steemit, and which are the extra tokes or extra income. But soon, most of these platforms probably will be adopted to hive.

First, what you need to do is just create an account, just register. There are 6 different options for registration, few of which are paid (around 1$), but I suggest you use esteem. Because esteem has its’ personal tokens or points, which can be used to boost your post and to get more money.

Then just start to publish your posts! Try to be creative and don’t use copy-paste. Your content should be unique and interesting, so people will read it and upvote. Upvotes are your future payment. I will explain to you how does it work.

So, you publish your post with tags, and wait when others will upvote it. If you publish unique and interesting content, more people with high voting power will upvote you. Also, if you are lucky enough you can get upvotes from curating communities.

Few important things to remember:

Your content should be unique
Your post should be more than 250 words
If you use someone’s photos try to put a source
Use tags which are related to your post, and which are using on the platform

Here are a few tags recommendations:

Common tags for any content:
#creativecoin, #palnet, #dblog, #marlians, #neoxian etc

Investment tags:
#steemleo

Photography tags:
#photo #photography

Sports tags:
#actifit #sport #apx #exhaust

Before using some of these tags you need to join the related platforms.

Contests and other ways to earn

There are plenty of contests which are running by HIVE and STEEMIT users. There are different photography contests, free writing contests, challenges etc.

If you don’t know what to post, or you actually don’t want to become a blogger who writes posts, you can just earn money by walking or by workout.

For example, actifit.io to which relates a tag #actifit. In order to join the platform you just need a steemit or hive account. Then install actifit app on your phone, log in with your steemit or hive account, and start to walk at least 5k steps every day. And every day share your activity in the app. But be sure that app is running on your phone, otherwise your steps will not be counted. All of us are walking every day and making 5k steps is not so difficult.

Exhaust and apx are similar sports apps, but I don’t use it yet, so I can’t tell you anything about it. But you can use tag #apx when you publish a post related to sport and workout.

How to check and what to do with other tokens on HIVE/STEEMIT?

Other tokens are accumulating on the Steem-engine platform. Actually, there were no other tokens before, and steem-engine started to run new tokens, new ways to earn more crypto, more money. To earn these different tokens you just need to use hashtags which are connected to these tokens. These hashtags you can check on the Steem Engine platform by checking the info of each token.

How to withdraw your crypto? Or how to get a real money?

If you are already familiar with a blockchain system, you know the answer to that question, but if you are newbie follow the next steps:

1️⃣Convert tokens on Steem-Engine account into Steemit/Hive tokens (I recommend steemit, because Hive is not listed in global blockchain platforms like Binance)
2️⃣Then withdraw it to you Steemit/Hive account
3️⃣Withdraw tokens to the Binance account. If you don’t have it, open a new one first.
If you know how to work with Binance, skip the next step.
4️⃣You need to exchange steemit tokens to Fiat (USD, EUR, RUB), which you can withdraw to your debit/credit card.

I know that all information may sound very complicated and difficult. And maybe you think that you will never understand it. But, just try. I am not an IT specialist, and I didn’t study blockchain on special courses etc. I am self-learner, and I started to learn steemit by myself. If you have any questions, just live a comment, and I will try to help you!💙
