Free Platform to Run the Monetized Blog
Today many people run the blog in social media or in other platforms and make money. So, more people start to think about to open their blog.
Blogging is flexible and creative work. But it doesn’t mean that it is chilling. Blogging is hard work from the beginning. Even when you get an audience and start to earn money with your blog, you still have to work hard, or even harder than before.
In the beginning, you need to find a niche because there are so many bloggers today. And in order to be successful, you have to be competitive. From my personal experience, I would recommend you to start from writing platform and Instagram or Facebook.
First of all, there are so many writing platforms today. And many of them are free. But you still can earn money on it. I will tell you about a couple of such platforms. If you run at the same time IG and writing platform you can get more audience. And in Instagram the size of the posts are limited, but in writing platform, you can even write a book.
I don’t develop my Instagram account because I am not so enthusiastic about being famous on it. And I don’t like to make stories, and posting my personal pictures. But actually, depends on your topic, you can avoid sharing your personal photos. So, everything depends on…
So, let’s take a look at what kind of platforms you can use.
About a couple of months ago I opened my account on Medium.com. Medium is a platform for authors. You can create different publications and stories. So if you write books you can split it on publications, and stories could be different chapters of your book. Or if you are travel bloggers group you travel destinations by publications.
I have divided my stories into 3 publications: travel, education and stories in Russian.
You don’t need to pay to join the medium. But if you want to get an unlimited membership which gives you unlimited reading access to all articles on the platform. But it doesn’t have any relation to your blog and its’ monetization.
You can activate monetization as soon as you join the platform, all that you need is a stripe account. If you don’t have it just register a new one.

Don’t expect that you will start earning money right after you join the platform. Be passioned and keep working.
There are other platforms to start your blog, and I started to use these platforms a couple of years ago and I really like them.
