A monthly series that will detail a little bit about the next location I’ll be moving to, but for our first one we’ve got to take a look back. I don’t usually love these kind of posts so I’ll try and keep it brief.

To follow my life’s typical fashion, I completely and totally hazed myself all the while thinking I was doing something smart.

1/31 — flew NYC to Long Beach
2/5 — drove to Palm Desert
2/7 — returned to Long Beach from Palm Desert
2/10 — drove to LA
2/13 — drove back to Long Beach
2/14 — attempted to fly from Long Beach to San Francisco. Flight was delayed 3 hours so I rescheduled it to the next morning.
2/15 — flew from Long Beach to San Francisco, and then drove from SFO to Monterey.
2/18 — drove from Monterey back to San Francisco
2/20 — missed my flight home to Long Beach
2/21 — flew from San Francisco to Long Beach at 6:15am. Flew from Los Angeles to Miami at 11:50pm. (Please note this allotted me ~12 hours to pack for an entire year. Amazon Prime is my best friend.)
2/22 — flew from Miami to Punta Cana for my company’s “retreat”
2/25 — flew from Punta Cana to Miami
2/27 — fly from Miami to Cordoba

I thought deciding to save some money and live at home for a month and not move twice in 3 weeks in the middle of a New York winter was a good idea. I thought spending time with my family before a year abroad was a great idea. I thought seeing my friends, not just in NYC, but in CA too was a solid plan. I thought shipping instead of storing so all my things could be in one place was less stressful, but then FedEx AND the post office lost my stuff. Oops.
