DC Brau Brewery Visit

Just Call Me Sne
Figuring It Out, Together

After putting this visit on the top of my list of things to do in D.C. for I don’t know how many months, I finally was able to convince a group of my friends to accompany me to the D.C. Brau Brewery in Northwest D.C.

As the first brewery within the District’s city limits, I wanted the opportunity to check out where this local treat is made.

When first arriving, the group I led into this adventure was underwhelmed — nervous even — based on the neighborhood in which it is located.

After cautiously finding our way into the establishment we were greeted by the typical, friendly brewery-type staff and found a large hightop table for our group to play one of the provided board games.

After each finishing our first flight, we were invited to walk the grounds and see the various tanks/processes in the brewing assembly line.

If I could make one slight improvement to the space, it would be to include an outdoor area to enjoy the fresh brews on a nice sunny day.
