The Mirror

A Poem

The Mirror escaped.
It left while we prayed
In the middle of service, while the Pastor spoke:

“Carbon monoxide incense and smoke.
No reflection.
No Contention.
Live life without living.
See life without seeing.”

One PlayStation Two,
Two Jimmy Choos.
Three cheers for beer,
Four more for booze!
Five pounds in a week, you just can’t lose!
Six Chicken McNuggets,
Seven 7-11s,
Eight joints a day stone those troubles away!
Endless choices (entropy noises)

The Dragon arrived while the Pastor spoke.
Bathed us in fire, sulfer and smoke.
A funeral pyre, a burning joke.
And the Mirror escaped, it left while we prayed.
