Finally, Medium

The year-long wait for an invite

I don’t really have anything overly creative or opinionated to comment about at the moment, so I guess I’ll just use my first post to say this:

FINALLY.

After what feels like forever-and-a-half, the folks here at Medium finally decide to let me try it out. I only jumped on the mailing list and followed them on Twitter the second I heard about this and Branch, which was, at most, two days after they were announced, but that’s okay, invite all the hipsters first, it’s cool.

Overall, this looks like a really cool, promising way of sharing stuff, my stories in particular, and I look forward to spending a lot of time in my personal collections. I don’t see myself contributing to the public collections, unless there’s a Game of Thrones episode with a bigger slap in the face than the second to last episode of season 3, but rest assured I’ll be sure to browse around.

Already, though, I can comment on how awesome the look and feel is, especially this feeling of an endless page that I can just fill away with my thoughts.
