Welcome to my new column, where I pair two movies I find in my local Walmart’s bargain DVD bin perfect for a movie lover’s Saturday night in.

The movies must have a common element and share a similar demographic to be paired together.

This week, our double feature consists of two of the best films from Steven Spielberg — Jaws (1975) and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982).

Both milestones for the filmmaker everyone knows, these two, perhaps better than any other two in his filmography would play great together. At least, in this writer’s opinion.
