Actionable cards are redefining the way a user interacts with the product applications across platforms.

There are more than 50 notifications that a user gets everyday on his/her mobile devices. How many of them result into conversion? I think being a user yourself, you can answer this. Brands are constantly pushing the notifications to their users so that they do not miss out on even a single chance of converting them into consumers. Certainly, brands do take care of various factors like time, message, the kind of offer, etc. but there are a few things a brand cannot change — the no. of clicks a user needs to do in order to avail that deal and that is really a big concern.

Though we really dont need any research ( you being the first hand users of the mobile.) but according to the latest research on tech magazines its has been mentioned that 90% of the users clears all the notifications from the centre in just single click apart from the news notifications which solve there purpose of giving the headlines in a jiff.

To won this lot battle in ensuring that consumer should respond to your notification a new concept of actionable card has been emerging.

What is actionable cards?

Actionable cards, are notifications that comes to your device with CTA button with it so that a user can act the moment he/she recieves the notification. Actionable cards can be used in almost all the industries for eg. Ecommerce(to send the offers), Entertainment Cards (to display a new release and option to biy), Grocery Card( to order grocery), News Card (to hive you news of you interest) to name the few.
