JUST Egg Sous Vide Coming to Grocery Stores This Spring
Fans of our original pourable JUST Egg and pre-baked folded format that debuted last year will soon have a new plant-based offering to add to their breakfast menu: JUST Egg Sous Vide — a perfectly cooked egg bite that is incredibly tender and rich, yet light.
Coming to the freezer aisle of select U.S. retailers this spring, JUST Egg Sous Vide bites will be available in several unique and distinct flavors inspired by regional cuisines and whole plants:
- America (roasted potato, dill, chives, red bell pepper and black pepper)
- Japan (portobello mushrooms, yams, togarashi, soy and tamari)
- Mexico (roasted poblanos, chipotle chile, black beans, corn and lime)
JUST Egg Sous Vide bites will be sold as a box of four that can be heated in a conventional oven, toaster oven or microwave, and as with other JUST Egg formats, the key ingredient is mung bean protein. The product is free of cholesterol and has as much protein or more protein as many animal proteins (9-13g per serving depending on the flavor). It is non-GMO, egg-free, dairy-free and has no artificial flavors.
