There’s no question that this year is going to be an important one for JUST, so we decided to ring in 2018 by doing something big — by formally introducing our delicious, healthier and more sustainable products in Asia — home to nearly 60% of the world’s population. The response from consumers, culinarians and celebrities who joined us for our debut in Hong Kong was, in a word, exhilarating, and we’re excited to introduce ourselves to millions more in the months ahead.

Our first partner in Asia is Green Common, a pioneering, one-stop solution that combines casual dining and shopping. It’s the perfect place to feature our brand-new Just Scramble and our best-selling Just Mayo and Just Ranch. Our companies’ missions to champion a healthy, delicious and sustainable food system are well aligned and we look forward to growing together.

In the weeks leading up to our launch, JUST and Green Common chefs worked together to create familiar and palate-pleasing Just Scramble dishes for local patrons. Two tasty signature dishes — “Just Scramble Teriyaki Bowl” and “All Day Just Scramble” — capture the essence of eastern and western culture and cuisine and embrace the fact that protein is an important element for every meal of the day, not only at breakfast time.

But you don’t have to take our word for it. We asked some of Hong Kong’s leading tastemakers for their first impressions of Just Scramble and here’s what they had to say:

The enthusiasm we witnessed for JUST’s mission and products in Hong Kong reinforced our belief that there’s a massive opportunity to help shape how people living on the world’s most populous continent think about how to efficiently and sustainably feed the future.

As David Yeung, cofounder and CEO of Green Common, pointed out during our launch event: “It is clear that our planet doesn’t have enough resources to sustain the population — 7.6 billion by end of 2017 and continuously growing. Food innovation will play a critical role in feeding the planet sustainably and nutritiously.”

Fortunately with Just Scramble, we were lucky enough to find something that has impacted our food system for thousands of years and turn it into a meal that will impact it for thousands more. We’re just getting started and we’re actively seeking partners across Asia who want to join us on our journey.
