Spark Horizon UX/UI CASE STUDY
The electric car industry is rising therefore charging anxiety is becoming a common thing. We tackle that problem on this user interface in order to help drivers use their eVehicles more often by providing easier access to the charging stations.
The challenge
- Charging constraint
- Not enough charging networks
- Compatibility issues
- No awareness about EV
- Price of charge very high
A possible solution
1. Easy to access charging stations
2.Reduce compatibility issues
3.Add and save cars/stations
Wireframing the concept
At this stage of the MVP we had already found out a solution to the problem of the users not having the time and the desire to register by adding features such as a 2 step charge on the app. The main goal was to get the user to see the nearest station with a little to no effort.
This was achieved providing a map, which automatically shows you a the nearest within 3–5km.
“We need to stop worrying about proving the value of design and just focus on outcomes that provide value. ”
— Denis Weil, Innovation Executive formerly at McDonald’s
The User Interface
After this stage we began crafting the interface providing various of user patterns and gathering data from different personas.
A successful end result…
“Mila is not only a professional designer he’s also very focus on User interaction when designing. leading us to choices that one could have missed. We are very pleased with the outcome of our collaboration. Mila also really helped us to mature our project up to where we are now. Can only recommend him. Will propably work again with Mila if the opportunity comes again.”
