At Drivezy, we strive to make our platform as transparent as possible. We have designed the JustConnect app with this in mind and are happy to say that we have come a long way in achieving this, and will continue to improve with every update.

A common topic of confusion for our partners is how and why we collect money for the ‘maintenance pool’.

What is the maintenance pool and why does it exist?

The maintenance pool is a separate account for each vehicle, collected from the earnings of that vehicle. The purpose of keeping a separate balance is so that the monthly payout is not affected by the rising costs of servicing every year.

The ‘maintenance pool’ tab shows the accumulated money so far up till the previous month, whereas the ‘un-billed transactions’ tab shows the amount that will be processed at the end of the current month.

How is this money collected?

Money for the maintenance pool is collected only from those rides that have opted for ‘unlimited-kms’ package. However, the amount varies from vehicle to vehicle. For example, the distance charges for the Hyundai Eon is ₹1.5 per km whereas for the Tata Bolt is ₹1.6 per km.

Does this affect the payout?

No, in fact this pool is the reason that payouts don’t decrease due to increasing servicing and repair costs.

So, are you ready for a swim now?
