We meet again! We’ve made it easy to rehire past employees.

Want to hire your intern on a full-time basis now that they’ve graduated? We’ve made it easy with our new rehire feature! When you’d like to rehire a previously terminated employee or intern, click on the “Rehire” button in the top right-hand corner of the employee’s profile. You can also update their general information (name, title, manager, contact info, etc.), compensation and exemption status, and schedule their start date. Once you’ve gone through the process of rehiring the employee or intern, they’ll receive an email to welcome them back to Justworks and prompt them to fill out a new Form I-9.

Moving on up — the right way to handle employee address changes.

Have an employee that’s recently moved? Make sure that in addition to updating their new home address, you’ve correctly updated their office location if they’re now working in a different state. If addresses aren’t updated properly, an employee runs the risk of being taxed incorrectly throughout the year. To ensure this doesn’t happen, Justworks will now send you and your employee an email notification when an employee’s home address and office address are not listed in the same state or a neighboring state.
