1/19/18: Better manage your team’s information with custom fields and notes

Custom Fields
Justworks is working to make managing all of your employee information as easy as possible. With custom fields, admins can now create structured data fields to capture any custom information such as T-shirt size, desk location, or laptop IDs. You can also track information across the entire team or specific user groups. The custom fields feature can be viewed in your Justworks account or pulled as separate reports. For now, only admins with “edit company settings” permissions can create custom fields. “Manage employees” permissions can view and answer custom fields. The ability for employees to enter in information to custom fields will be coming later this year!
Notes
Admins can now record notes on employees for things such as weekly meetings or performance reviews. You can also use the Topics dropdown menu to organize and easily filter notes over time. All notes are specific to individual employees and will appear chronologically in the Notes section under the Employees Profile. Similar to custom fields, only admins with “Manage employees” permissions will be able to create and edit notes. Anyone with “View all employee information” permissions will be able to view, but not create or edit.
