Employees can use the new Open Enrollment Quickstart Guide to select their health insurance plans with confidence.

Hello and welcome to Changelog, your weekly roundup of everything new in Justworks. Last week, we kicked off employee open enrollment, a time when employees select health insurance plans for the new plan year beginning November 1. This year, we added a new Open Enrollment Quickstart Guide to help employees make more informed decisions when selecting their plans.

There’s a lot of thought that goes into selecting health insurance plans and the process can be confusing if you’re not very familiar with plan coverage terminology. That’s why we’re introducing more education in the open enrollment flow so that it’s easier for employees to identify which plan best suits their needs.

Once an employee visits their Benefits Center, they’ll immediately see an option to read the new Open Enrollment Quickstart Guide, which outlines definitions of important terminology. The guide is quickly accessible throughout each step if employees need to review the terms of each plan. If employees need more support when selecting plans, Health Advocate’s contact information is available on each page. They could also watch this quick video to navigate open enrollment in Justworks.

The last day of the annual employee open enrollment window is Friday, October 7, 2021.
