Hello and welcome to Changelog, your weekly roundup of everything new in Justworks. This week, we launched improvements to how approved PTO syncs to employee Timecards and a new editable field in the Form I-9 in Justworks.

  1. PTO to Timecard sync improvements
  2. New editable field in Form I-9 in Justworks

1. PTO to Timecard sync improvements

Approved PTO requests will now automatically sync to employees Timecards that are not started, in progress, or submitted for approval by the employee. So long as a Timecard is not approved, your employee’s approved PTO will auto-populate in their Timecard. No need to manually enter PTO hours for your team or worry that an employee doesn’t receive their well deserved paid time off.

2. New editable field in Form I-9 in Justworks

Form I-9 is used to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. Admins completing the Form I-9 in Justworks can now edit the “Additional Information” section on Page 2 of the form directly in Justworks.

This editable field allows you to document notes associated with a new hire’s employment authorization requirements. Save time and paper by completing this section directly in Justworks. For information about completing the Form I-9 during COVID-19, check out the USCIS page here.

As always, we’re here 24/7 for any questions you might have.
