Get started on closing your books for 2021 by completing the in-app End of Year Task List

Hello and welcome to Changelog, your weekly roundup of everything new in Justworks. We launched the End of Year Task List for 2021 this past Tuesday, November 9th. At Justworks, “End of Year” starts in November and ends after we issue Forms W-2 and 1099 in late January. This in-app Task List guides our customers in meeting key deadlines and closing out the year with confidence.

The Task List is the #1 destination for all things End of Year and is the primary tool customers use to communicate important information to Justworks. To help keep you on track, we split the tasks into two deadlines in December and ask that each task be marked as “Done” or “Not applicable”.

Educational resources, such as instructional videos and Help Center content, are quickly accessible within the Task List so that you have all the information needed to complete the task. The End of Year Guide can also be used to learn more about important topics surfaced in the Task List.

Completing all of the tasks outlined in the Task List enables Justworks to have the necessary information to file payroll taxes and issue tax documents accurately and on time. The first deadline is on December 17, 2021.

Customers can access the End of Year Task List by navigating to the upper left corner of the homepage.
