Hello and welcome to Changelog, your weekly roundup of everything new in Justworks! This week we’ve added additional information to our “Company census” report and COVID-19 relief center.

1. Mailing address added to “Company census” report
We’ve added your employees’ mailing address to the “Company census” report. If your team is working remotely because of COVID-19, you can use this information to help keep track of everyone’s location during this time. Simply click “Reports” under the “Company” header > “Company census” to download this information.
2. Social Security Tax Deferral Update
The CARES Act offers eligible small businesses the opportunity to defer employer-paid Social Security taxes from March 27, 2020 until December 31, 2020. Updated guidance from the IRS now allows employers to both defer payment of their employer-paid social security tax, through December 31, 2020, and ultimately seek forgiveness of a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan issued by their lender.
Once an employer receives a decision from its lender that its PPP loan is forgiven, the employer is no longer eligible to continue deferring payment of the employer’s share of social security tax due after that date, even if it is before December 31, 2020.
