Hello and welcome to Changelog, your weekly roundup of everything new in Justworks. This week we launched a new CARES Act tax credit in Justworks and have new COVID-19 resources for you and your team.

1. CARES Act Employee Retention Tax Credit

This week we launched the CARES Act Employee Retention Tax Credit for customers with 100 or fewer employees in 2019. This program helps to keep employees on payroll by providing employers with tax credits up to $5,000 per eligible employee.

There are a number of eligibility requirements that must be met to claim the tax credit. To understand your company’s eligibility, please refer to our help article.

If your company averaged 100 or fewer full-time employees in 2019, you can navigate to the Employee Retention Tax Credit opt-in page through the COVID-19 relief page in Justworks. From there, you can learn more about eligibility requirements and begin to claim the tax credit.

This week Lisa Calvert, Chief People Officer of Justworks, sat down to share some advice on how organizations can maintain and build their company’s culture through COVID-19. We also have new tips for managing mental health during this time.
