We launched a new payments center for scheduling off-cycle payments

Hello and welcome to Changelog, your weekly roundup of everything new in Justworks. This week we officially launched our new Payments center in Justworks! Read on to learn about some of the new features you’ll see.

Payments Center

The Payments center in Justworks, formerly “Make a payment”, is where to schedule off-cycle payments to employees, contractors, and vendors. The new page is found by clicking “Payments center” under the “Payments” header in Justworks. There, you’ll see new pay type navigation, robust payee filtering, and enhanced search functionally to name a few improvements.

In the Payments Center, Justworks admins with “Make payments” permission can:

• Schedule off-cycle payments at no additional cost: Make one-time payments like bonuses, commissions, expense reimbursements, and more to employees, owners, contractors, or vendors at any time, at no extra cost.
• Rest assured: Have peace of mind that we’ll withhold, report, and remit your payroll taxes, and file your W-2s and 1099s for payments processed through Justworks.
• Remove the guesswork: Learn about all the payment types in Justworks and receive guidance on when to use them with detailed payment type descriptions
• Simplify payroll process: Automate direct deposits for full- and part-time employees and give employees flexibility over their paycheck.
