1/23/17: Tax forms, tax forms, tax forms! And some benefits and payments stuff too.

Tax Day is on Tuesday, April 18 and we’ve been busy generating W-2s and 1099s so you guys can file your taxes. Every employee, contractor and vendor that received a payment through Justworks in 2016 got an email from us and can now log in to Justworks to download their forms. We’re also mailing all forms so check your mailbox!

Benefits

• Termination of coverage emails: Employees now get an email when their medical, dental and/or vision insurance coverage is terminating. The email includes details of when policies are terminating, as well as instruction on how to enroll in COBRA coverage. Don’t freak out — an employee’s insurance coverage will usually only end if they leave their company, their company leaves Justworks or they choose not to renew their plans in open enrollment.
• Health insurance enrollment: We’ve made improvements to the healthcare enrollment flow to make sure employees don’t forget to submit their choices once they’ve selected plans. The new UI improvements make it really hard for them to forget to press that pesky submit button!

Payments

• Deductions: Admins are now able to schedule deductions that occur every pay period, regardless of pay frequency (semi-monthly, biweekly or weekly).

Scheduled deductions now available for every pay period.
