1/30/17: It’s testing time!

We’ve been busy sketching, planning and building and now we’re ready to test. We’ve also given the employee benefits center a bit more love and we’ve made a tiny change that could make a big difference on tax day. Sometimes, it really is the little things.

Benefits

• Employees can now see the maximum benefit amounts that would be paid out for all their employer-paid STD, LTD, Basic Life and AD&D policies right there in their benefits center. But wait, there’s more. Employees can now download their certificates of insurance (COIs) for all these policies as well. Yep, so that’s all their plan info in one place.

Payments

• We’re beta testing some new tools to make it easier for employers to comply with overtime requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Can’t remember what that’s all about? Check out some of our blog posts. Otherwise, stay tuned for when we release this to the world. It won’t be long.

HR

• Have an employee in Ohio that keeps getting taxed like they’re in New York? We’ve made a change we think might help. Now when admins add a new employee to Justworks, the employee’s office location will no longer default to your company’s main address. This will save a ton of time at tax time by making sure your employees are being taxed for the actual jurisdiction they work in from day one.
• We’re also testing the way employees see PTO in Justworks. We think they’ll like the new view. Coming soon.
