Introducing JW Player’s Engineering Blog

Online video is everywhere, so it’s easy to take for granted how many complex systems and brilliant people it takes to distribute all that content.

It is especially tricky to do at scale, which we know a bit about at JW Player. Every month, the software and services that our engineers build are used to deliver video to over a billion people.

We’re starting this blog as a place for those engineers to write deep-dives about the work they do and share their knowledge with the rest of our industry. We will also feature occasional guest posts from the talented developers who use our APIs to build their own video solutions.
