Easily Manage Lens Subscriptions for Teams with Lens Business ID

In July, we introduced a new subscription model for Lens. Since then, users of Lens have been choosing between two different subscriptions:

• Lens Personal — a subscription for personal use, education and startups (for any individual or company user with less than $10 million in annual revenue or funding).
• Lens Pro — a subscription for cloud native professionals and is required for those working in larger businesses. It also comes with new and exciting features.

For individual users, purchasing and managing a Lens Pro subscription is pretty straightforward. However, for larger teams, businesses and organizations it has been more of a challenge. Today, we are excited to release Lens Business ID. Lens Business ID is designed to make purchasing and managing multiple Lens subscriptions as easy as possible!

Lens Business ID Features

• Subscription Management — See all of your Lens Subscriptions for your business with details of the plan type, number of seats, status and renewal dates. Add new Lens subscriptions directly from the Lens Business ID Portal.
• Seat Management — Easily assign seats to a subscription with a list of user email addresses. See how many seats are assigned and which users are active, pending, or canceled.
• Billing Management — Access your billing and invoicing history. Change your billing information and payment details.

How does this affect me?

If you have purchased a Lens Pro Subscription for yourself, the Lens Business ID is not going to affect you.

If you have purchased a Lens Pro Subscription(s) for your team prior to the Lens Business ID launch. You’ll receive email from us to activate your Lens Business ID as an administrator for your account. An email will be sent to your billing email address. Once your Lens Business ID is activated, you will be able to manage your subscription.

Going forward, if you want to purchase a Lens Pro subscription for your team, business or organization, you can simply subscribe and create a new Lens Business ID during the checkout process.

How do I access Lens Business ID?

You can create your Lens Business ID as part of the Lens Pro subscription process when purchasing for your team, or access it through the Lens ID Portal in the top left corner dropdown.
