Be practical and not theoretical. You have to give yourself the chance to at least taste the world for yourself in your own shoes. If you don’t step out to experience the world, and, on top of that, let your assumptions and knowledge about the world be shaped by someone else’s word, you have seriously missed out on adding valuable turning points and opportunities in your life. Following blindly without experimenting and learning for yourself puts you in a vulnerable position.

Insecurity. Something which a lot of people mixed with under-confidence about their own power to interact, learn, and grow from the environment have. People who are insecure are more vulnerable to accept the views of others in a blind note. For example, religion, although I don’t want to dive very deep into it, is a landscape where there are many clouded interpretations and followers where many have no idea the facts behind what they follow. I can speak of this with confidence as a follower of Sanatan-Dharma. Many other components can be expanded to the same issue of people following others blindly because they are either too afraid to find out for themselves or they simply feel insecure about pushing themselves to learn about the truth.

Now, that being said, for those ambitious to know, step out of the baby feed zone, find your environment, and start experiencing. You need to push yourself to learn more about the world to make sure the actions you take today are truly in line with what the world supports. For example, in business, there is an entire concept of market research where you must put yourself in front of potential customers, and let the market tell you what they want. If you don’t put yourself out there, then you run the risk of blindly creating a product which has will have no selling power in the market, and ultimately, you will do out of business. Sell people what they want, and not what you “think” they want. Make sure you take the necessary steps to experience and taste the world for yourself on the front lines because the more in tune you are with your world, the better position you will be in to make an impact on the world.

Don’t follow blindly, follow your real-world experience.
