What is it that you want to do? Where do you want to be in the next 5 years? Is what you are doing right now what you want or gets you to what you want in the future?

These are some questions to ask yourself when deploying self-awareness. You have to understand yourself, your aspirations, and in the end, what you truly feel happy doing. These are not easy questions to answer especially when you are young, and have multiple exposures to many fields on a superficial level. A lot of times, you, as a young individual, have not fully realized what each field implies and what the consequences are of working your career in that field.

Find your niche. This is the most important advice from this article. If you feel that you are in a position which you don’t want to be in, then step back, and ask yourself some questions. Not only should you ask yourself the questions above, but you should also work to test and experiment your thoughts about your aspirations. You have to test whether what you are doing directly relates to your happiness.

Once you have some sort of idea on your niche, it all becomes a game to focus and narrow down on that niche. After you have it boiled down to the point where you are completely sure what your passion and niche is, then you should go for it without heeding to any of the distractions that may come along the way.

Question. Experiment. Find. Act.
