Amazon (2013-Present)

Product Manager, Mobile Shopping App

  • Launched physical-goods shopping on FireTV with 3 PMs and 7 SDEs across 7 teams in 3 locations; implemented Scrum task-management and reduced design tasks by 45% in 4 weeks; created product requirements, prioritized features and developed UK and Germany launch roadmaps; shepherded team through multiple product reviews with Jeff Bezos by aligning expectations, preparing VPs and driving post-meeting actions; spearheaded beta testing program with 40 participants; Press Coverage
  • Shipped new user interface, Fire OS5 or “Bellini”, with updates to the shopping app on Fire tablets released in October 2015; drove product requirement and collaborated with Fire tablets team to develop new UI that surfaces shopping features, SKUs and widgets on home screen of tablet; Press Coverage 1 and Press Coverage 2
  • Managed buying operations, inventory forecasting and growth strategy for Amazon’s largest marine products vendor; drove 97% year-over-year revenue growth to $10.5M in 2013, exceeding goal of $7M; led 6-person team to organize Pets division’s largest promotional event generating $300K across 80 deals; prepared and oversaw launch strategy for market-leading pet grooming brand and generate $5M revenue; mentored 7 new hires on negotiations and revenue growth best practices

  • Developed valuation models for debt and equity securities, such as options, RSUs and bonds, for Fortune 500 corporations for M&A and business planning
  • Designed Matlab, STATA and Excel-based simulations to value debt securities of $1B videogame developer, $100B fast-food company, among others; awarded 4 recognition awards by partners for client management and project execution

CIDRE Microfinance Bank (2010)

Impact Evaluation Researcher

  • Built time-efficient model of estimating economic impact of microcredit loans in rural Bolivia using control and treatment groups; Identified 22 estimation parameters to evaluate $11 million worth of loans; gathered primary data through 600 survey respondents and submitted research for presentation at the Inter-American Development Bank 2011 conference in Uruguay

Google (2010)

Market Expansion Intern

  • Developed and executed marketing strategy to expand Google AdWords in Middle East by partnering with local advertising agencies; shortlisted and interviewed 45 agencies and conducted three e-learning seminars for 30 people on AdWords
