Kaby Arena: Next Events & Updates
In this article, we will cover about our exciting new events and game updates which include: Re-distribution of Leaderboard rewards, the news about Staking Campaign, new Races introduction, schedule for PvP release and a new item called gem box.
Redistribution of Leaderboard Rewards
As mentioned in the previous article, we will regularly make adjustment for the Leaderboard Rewards. From the data from LB week 2, we understand that it is not very profitable for top 200–101 even though their investment & effort are just a little behind the top 100. Therefore, we decided to redistribute the LB Rewards to expand $KGT rewards to top 150 and increase the Treasure Box rewards for top 500:
The change will be effective on our 3rd week reward payment on Dec, 7th, 2021
- Rank 1: 100,000 $KGT
- Rank 2: 80,000 $KGT
- Rank 3: 60,000 $KGT
- Rank 4–10: 40,000 $KGT each
- Rank 11–20: 25,000 $KGT each
- Rank 21–50: 15,000 $KGT each
- Rank 51–100: 10,000 $KGT each
- Rank 101–150: 6,800 $KGT each
- Rank 151–200: 24 Treasure Boxes each(est. 6,600 $KGT each — shop price)
- Rank 201–350: 14 Treasure Boxes each(est. 3,850 $KGT each — shop price)
- Rank 351–500: 6 Treasure Boxes each(est. 1,650 $KGT each — shop price)
Early cash-out tax is also adjusted to 45% to further encourage player-to-player trading on the items market
We also understand that many players want to have a more reasonable unit price for star shards so that they have a route to upgrade their hero other than spending $KABY so we reduce the store price for shards from 50 -> 25 $KGT.
Thus, the unit price for Treasure Box is now 275 $KGT
What to expect next from Kaby Arena
1. Kaby Stake-to-Earn Campaign:
We are opening new staking pools soon for $KABY holders
- Stake $KABY to earn $KABY
- Stake $KABY-BUSD pair to earn $KABY
With the opening of these two new pools, we will close the existing $KGT pools. Reward KGT/block at the existing pools will gradually decrease to 0 $KGT/block and we will close the pool shortly after.
More details about the staking campaigns will be announce later.
2. New Races Sneak Peak
To increase the diversity of the game, we will introduce a new race every month. Players will have to stake $KABY (in one of the above pools) under certain conditions to purchase the new NFTs. New race NFTs will be of very limited quantity and much less than any existing race.
3. PvP mode release Schedule
Our development of the PvP mode is on the right track and we expect to release PvP mode on: Monday, Dec 20th, 2021
To celebrate the event, we will have $BUSD reward for Leaderboards players on the PvE Leaderboard week 4
Reminder: With the release of PvP mode, PvP Leaderboard will replace the current PvE Leaderboard. PvE mode will be for grinding Exp or to complete quests for in-game drops
4. Gem Box
Gem is a new item that can be equipped by the heroes. Certain combination of gems will bring out hidden perks such as: higher damage, life steal, etc.
We will announce our schedule for the sale of Gem boxes in later announcement!
