Kaby Arena: PvP Leaderboard Schedule
Kaby Arena’s much awaited PvP mode will come out on Monday, December 20th. Taking lessons from previous PvE release, we will host a Bug Bounty campaign for the first week of PvP release. The PvP Leaderboard & Rewards will be fully operational starting from 26th. We will also explain how you can compete in PvP Leaderboard.
Bug Bounty Campaign
While we have been working hard to avoid any bugs during PvP release, we have learnt from the PvE release that you should always expect the unexpected. Therefore, we decided that the first week of PvP release, we will run a Bug Bounty Campaign from 20th to 26th of December.
Rules:
- Participants must play at least 10 PvP matches during the bounty week.
- We will provide a feedback form to obtain your feedback / bug report / walletID.
- We will rate the feedback/ report according to the criticalness of the issues.
- Participants will receive their bounty based on our ratings.
Feedback Rewards:
Participants who receive more than 3-star ratings will receive rewards for their feedback/ report
- 5-star rating: 36 Treasure Boxes
- 4-star rating: 24 Treasure Boxes
- 3-star rating: 12 Treasure Boxes
Test-run Leaderboard Rewards:
Taking in suggests from the community, we will host a small test-run Leaderboard $KGT rewards for Top 100 players for the first week of PvP Seige Release so that the competitiveness will always strong within our player base. However, if during the test-run, there are critical bugs that affect the Leaderboard, to keep fairness, we will cancel this $KGT rewards and give consolation rewards in form of Treasure Boxes instead.
Specifically, the rewards are as follow:
- Top 1: 50,000 $KGT
- Top 2: 40,000 $KGT
- Top 3: 30,000 $KGT
- Top 4–10: 20,000 $KGT
- Top 11–20: 12,500 $KGT
- Top 20–50: 7,500 $KGT
- Top 50–100: 5,000 $KGT
PvP Leaderboard & Rewards
As mentioned before, PvP Leaderboard will officially start on 26th, December at 13:00 UTC. We decided to move the start & reset time for the Leaderboard 8 hours later than PvE Leaderboard so that players from every part of the world will have a fair chance to compete for the top spots!
The Rewards will be kept the same as PvE Leaderboard for now.
How to compete for PvP Leaderboard?
In PvP Siege mode you will have the chance to assemble your own team to Challenge other players, and Defend yourself against other challengers. By winning the challenges, you will gain points and ranks on the Leaderboard
You can actively increase your points by challenging tough opponents (with higher rank than you). Or you can passively earn points by composing a strong Defend team so that anyone who challenges you will lose to you. In the future, there is a possibility for an introduction of Land around the Defend feature of PvP Siege Mode
We understand that Kaby Arena players are all over the world, some regions has more active players than others. A Leaderboard based on Realtime PvP is not fair for everyone at the moment yet. Therefore, in this iteration, the opponents team will be managed by an advanced AI.
We will release Realtime PvP later in January in the form of Friendly PvP where you can challenge your friends in realtime. Maybe some waging are allowed too!
Final Thoughts
After launching PvP Siege mode, Kaby team will switch focus to the mobile version of Kaby Arena. A mobile app will greatly stabilize the game and establish the foundation for our first Tournament in 2022.
