[Updates] Kaby Arena’s Current State and Upcoming Plans
GameFi has been evolving at a rapid pace thanks to promising gameplay and the economic incentives it entails. However due to the volatile market, the GameFi industry is being affected a lot and becomes bleak these days. Even so, we will still endeavor to build a fully functional and sustainable product and are committed to success!
This article will cover most of the community’s concerns as well as our upcoming plans to have them addressed.
Stagnant new player acquisition and KGT token’s value
After quite a long time of running the game, we have already gained a significant number of committed and active players who are willing to give suggestions and support for us. The problem, however, lies in the fact that very few newcomers join us each day. Also, there are very strong players among us, so the game seems not easy for new players to catch up with these established strong teams.
Besides, the KGT price is going down and weekly rewards become not profitable for our players anymore. As a result, they feel less motivated to continue playing although the game is enjoyable.
Solutions: The team understands that and has made some plans to handle those issues.
- In parallel with new races release, we will roll out 2 new features: a new game mode, and a new equipment: Gem
- 2 features above are expected to be completed by the end of May — and then there will be promotional efforts such as Google ads to get more exposure and attract new players.
- There will be more ways to earn KGT in the game: PvP, PvE, easier daily challenges and the new mode.
Issue with iOS release
At the same time, there is a major block that slows us down relating to the mobile app on iOS. We submitted the app but unfortunately it was blocked with Guideline 4.3 Design — a rather vague error. Obviously, the team will work hard to fix it and hope for a more positive result, but in the worst case we will have to deploy with Testflight.
Tournament further delay
Regarding the tournament, we have to apologize for keeping it delayed. The main reason is not reaching the target of players in the past few months, making it impossible to organize any real-time tournament. Therefore, we won’t take the esports gaming feature as a high priority for now until we reach the targeted minimum number of players. Our devs will fully focus on features to attract new players instead.
Final thoughts
For the time being, due to the present state of GameFi, we can reasonably conclude that most of promotional efforts now won’t bring the expected results. We will push marketing with Telegram, Youtube and Twitter KOLs from all around the world once everything is set.
And there we have them— major concerns of Kaby Arena’s community answered. We hope this article is worth the wait and has helped to strengthen your trust in our team!
