The fleeting years have passed, leaving no trace,
In the silent night, I awaken from a dreamy chase.
Your voice in the wind resounds from afar,
Evoking deep thoughts, emotions like a star.

The elusive past, one can choose to forget,
But once touched, resetting becomes a regret.
Intertwined delicately, regrets fill my heart,
Endless remorse, a chance for a fresh start.

In the laughter of drunken nights, lost and forlorn,
Emotions and memories, piercing like a thorn.
Through awakening from intoxication’s embrace,
Love, the flame of life, can easily find its place.

Enduring the aftermath of pain and strife,
Yearning for more love, to rekindle life.
