Large Scale Speech Transcription & Face Swapping

As part of VietAI Summit 2019, Dr. Truong Do, CTO of VAIS, gave a presentation about how AI can be applied in Large Scale Speech Transcription & Face Swapping. Dr. Do introduced three core AI core engines — Speech Recognition, Computer Vision, and NLP — and discussed the combination of all of them to create even more powerful applications that can help boost human productivity.

Automatic Transcription Solution: Speech-to-Text Application

Automatic Transcription Solution is a product that converts speech to text. The target users of the product are people who work in the journalism industry, office workers, and people who take a lot of notes during meetings. Because voices and speech in a meeting often need to be recorded in detail and accurately, VAIS created this system to make the process much faster and easier.

The VAIS system is designed to increase the user’s experience. The application converts speech to text in real-time with a delay of less than 0.5 seconds. It can also eliminate background noise and filter out only the voices during meetings.

Users can access the application via mobile phone without connecting to the internet, which makes the service even more useful.

After displaying the converted text, a user can then edit it in the text editor. The entire system will help editors and office workers reduce the time they spend editing.
