Part 3 (Principles): Why should you attend the KMP Workshop?
This series discusses the benefits of attending the 4-day KMP Workshop. KMP Workshop is a collaborative and interactive Workshop. After attending the KMP Workshop, you get the KMP Credential from Kanban University. KMP stands for Kanban Management Professional.
For previous articles, refer to Part 1: Online Simulation Game, and Part 2: Kanban Agendas.
We continue Day 1 of the KMP Workshop. I explain the two principles of Kanban and six general practices of Kanban.
Change Management Principles
Again, as I wrote in previous articles, this KMP workshop focuses more on interaction than theory. We start with a video that gives you enough material to reflect on the resistance to change. We reflect on this video and share our learnings. These learnings form the basis of the Change Management Principles of Kanban. At this stage, you get another surprise that Kanban is an “Evolutionary Change Method.” In the rest of the three days, we discuss why Kanban is an evolutionary change method. By the end of the KMP Workshop, you will have all knowledge and tools to bring an evolutionary change in your organization.
If you have not attended the KMP Workshop yet, you would be thinking of bringing a “revolution” and not “evolutionary.”
