Can we learn the importance of Team work and Leadership from football?

Yes, definitely yes!

Earlier this week, I was watching a football match played by Real Madrid C.F. and FC Barcelona (two of the best teams in football world).

The most important thing about the match is that they played without their “best performers”. No Ronaldo and no Messi.

The match ended with a result of 5–1 with Barcelona taking a win home.

Learnings from the match:

Team Work: Real Madrid struggled to score goals without Ronaldo, their top performer. Any team to be successful shouldn’t rely only on one person, but it is the whole team’s contribution that will give a success. Whereas with Barcelona , others stepped up and managed a win.

Leadership: If the manager of the team changes, it’s the job of the new manager to provide tools and confidence to the team to adapt and get accustomed to the new way of work “or” even the most successful teams would fall apart and fail. The same happened with “Julen Lopetegui”, the new manager of Real Madrid under whom the team had failed miserably eventually falling down to 9th place in the table.

Result: The manager got sacked, the very next morning! Agree?
