Hi everyone, welcome to the Interview section today. On the occasion of Binance Meetup in Vietnam, we got prominent projects and the atmosphere is warming up. We have now here, KardiaChain is one of the most outstanding projects in Vietnam both technically and in terms of blockchain mass adoption.
Today, on the occasion of KardiaChain core-team lineup, at Binance Meetup in Vietnam with the attendance of CZ, CEO of Binance, we are VOZ Blockchain community, would like to have an interview section with Vice President of Business Development at KardiaChain, Mr. Long Nguyen:
- VOZ: Hi Long, this is very excited and honored to have you here face to face. Can you introduce yourself and KardiaChain.
Long Nguyen: Hello, hello everyone, my name is Long, I’m the Vice President of Business Development at KardiaChain.
- So KardiaChain is a public blockchain platform that focuses on Interoperability, so we have a really strong exposure in Vietnam and across South East Asia, closely working with enterprises and governments. We are working with services providers, government bodies, leading enterprises with the reason to decentralise their existing solutions. This gives us an advantage edge to the access to millions of users without the immense cost of initial user acquisition or the educating the market cost let’s say, so we take pride in offering Dual Node technology, which is our core technology that allows to connect any private and public blockchain regardless of their protocol. Currently it has been using by multiple enterprises and government bodies in the region.
- VOZ: Thank you, so VOZ blockchain community has some times attending KardiaChain successful conference in June and July, also our community members regards KardiaChain as influential projects in Vietnam, so it’s happy to see you here.

2. So question 2: VOZ: What does KardiaChain focus on at the moment in terms of product you offer?
Long Nguyen:
Right, in terms of product or let’s say, blockchain framework that we ‘re offering at the moment, there should be 4 of those. The first one is the Private to Public blockchain platforms, this public and private blockchain platform helps us to solve the emerged problems, the biggest dilemma for blockchain adoptions in institutional clients which is the concern between privacy and transparence. With our platform, enterprises can store their data on private blockchain platform with the complete control while providing a gateway for them to broadcast some necessary data onto the public blockchain platform in transparency to require. With this private to public blockchain framework, there are also the capabilities to share data between multiple parties at different levels of transparency.
VOZ: Thank you for the answer, we already know more about Kardiachain’s plan to cooperate or collaborate with large enterprises and tech firms to develop a strong blockchain industry in Vietnam, to make them adopt your technology easily and seamlessly.
3. VOZ: What are some of the use cases or clients who are adopting KardiaChain’s product?
Long Nguyen:
So before going to actual use cases I’d like to go back to the product we are offering. At the moment, as I said earlier, the first is Public to Private blockchain platform.
The second product that we are offering at the moment is the Decentralized application platform. Currently KardiaChain public blockchain platform offering the interoperability to all of the major public blockchain platform which is Ethereum NEO and TRON. We also provide the programming language and the smart contract as a interchain connections for developers to deploy their multichain applications to have access to much wider users.
The third one we are offering at the moment is the instant private chain which is one-click deployment that does allow you to use KardiaChain private chain solution.
The fourth one that we are offering is the wallet SDK that allows current applications whether it is web app or mobile app to blockchainize their current solutions and allow their users to have access to loyalty programming. About use cases, I would like to take this opportunity to share with not only VOZ community but also the other blockchain communities that we ‘re partnering with VVT Cable Sport which is the subsidiary of VTV Cable, Vietnamese national television to bring one of their pioneering app which is ONSports app on KardiaChain blockchain platform.
ONSport app is the app that has more than a hundred thousand users and all of the license to broadcast international sports in Vietnam, so they are trying to bring some new features that integrated KardiaChain blockchain platform onto the app which is prediction game, public voting, streaming donation and we believe that this has the potential to become one of the biggest dapps out there because we are really well-supported by not only the VTV Cable but also VFF which is Vietnamese Football Federation and the Viet Football community which is the biggest semi pro football community in the country. Along with that, we are working closely with VFF to blockchainise football player data. Really soon the community and general users to have exposure to one of the exciting prediction app that optimized utilized on player data, match data that’s call Fantasy football games.
Last but not least, we are working with various cities across the country on smart city projects applying blockchain technology. We are really excited about that and there will be upcoming announcement on that. Hopefully everyone would pay close attention.
VOZ: Looking back at 1 year of Kardiachain development, your project seems to have remarkable progresses to share with us and the community.
4. VOZ: Not only as a community member, is general users going to be able to use KAI token soon? Any plan upcoming month from KardiaChain and what is the next step in your 2020?
Long Nguyen:
Yes. So first and foremost thank you everyone, thank you community for always supporting, always following us, as before as I mentioned, right now people can actually use KardiaChain testnet on ONSport program ONSport application, you can download that app on the AppStore, Google play and try it out on prediction games on KardiaChain testnet using KAI, that will be prediction game for the Hanoi Semi Football League which is called HPL supported by ONSports and VietFootball community. The ONSports app right now has more than 100,000 users with a community base of more than 650,000 users and we strongly believe that we will blockchain to much much more wide user base.
In the near future, there will be some exciting news that we would like to share. The first one will be streaming donation platform. We are working closely with one of the biggest stream ecosystems in the country with the combined view and subscribers of more than 50 million on Facebook and Youtube. They want to build a donation platform using KardiaChain using KAI to donate to their streamers. So I think once that is launched they will have access to millions of users. And last but not least, we are working closely with enterprises to build an ecosystem that consists of multiple leading service providers with their loyalty program platform using KAI with another significant use case that we would like to share in the closet date.
VOZ: Yes, loyalty point and donation platform are the 2 big markets in blockchain. Recently the community noticed that KardiaChain is establishing a strong foothold in the Sports industry and other upcoming plans that you have shared with us. We are excited to hear about your collaboration in the near future about industry use cases you are focusing on as well as your milestones in blockchain mass adoption.
5. VOZ: We know that KardiaChain is about to launch Testnet 2.0 after your successful Testnet 1.0 back in July, so what can we expect in this newly upgraded version of KardiaChain testnet 2.0
Long Nguyen:
Right. Yes definitely thank you the community again for supporting us after launching the testnet Archi 1.0. We received tons of feedback from community and general users. We base on that to have significant improvement in this testnet Archi 2.0 which will be launching finally soon. The testnet will be allowing the deployment the interaction of smart contract and also with all of the improved UI/UX, the wallet explorer, more user friendly that users can access. Furthermore, the Testnet 2.0 has advantagous experience due to the integration of the ONSport app on to our testnet blockchain platform as I mentioned before it’s already on our testnet right now. You can actually go to Google play, download the ONsport, try out the prediction game for the HPL league which is Hanoi semi football league on ONsport that’s running on our testnet. So hopefully everyone gives a try and gives us some feedback. Testnet 2.0 will be the significant milestones for us before launching mainnet fairly soon.
VOZ: This would be your confidence in upcoming development orientation, especially the project mainnet and a lot of potential cooperation with other enterprises.
6. VOZ: From the perspective of traders and investment, what do you think your projects are the best for long-term investment?
Long Nguyen:
Right. I would say for successful long term development, successful achievement of the project, there are a few things that combine together. The first and foremost is the people, I believe that we are in a really good position of having a strong and talented devoted team that working toward a very similar goal or very common missions that we are sharing between everyone. So it’s a combination of technical engineering who’s been working on large scale infrastructure for many years with Google, Microsoft experience. Furthermore, along with financial expert who spent many years at global financial institutions and of course, the tech entrepreneur who have devoted their time, their effort previously on launching multiple apps, multiple solutions that’s been used by millions of people so I think KardiaChain team is a really good combination of experience and we are moving toward a really same common goal.
I think the next thing is the use cases that we are processing at the moment that gives general users not only blockchain users but also the general users to have the opportunities to be on KardiaChain blockchain platform to try our token to try out technology itself.
I think that will lead to a long lasting impact to everyone who has the opportunity to try on and of course the technology that we are having at the moment, the Dual Node as I mentioned allows cross-chain communication as well as all of the KSML which is Kardia Smart Contract Markup Language which is allowing you to deploy multichain solution or multichain Dapps, and sharing solution that we are working on at the moment that allows transaction routing for the maximized translation speed and lowest transaction cost possible.
So I think that is a little bit combination of a lot of things but that’s some of the strongest things that I think that brings long term prospect success to us.
VOZ: We hope the team, as a representative of prominent Vietnamese project in blockchain ecosystem, can develop the project successfully and build trust in the Vietnamese community as well as win community confidence.
