KardiaChain and BIG CAT expand KAI adoption into the entertainment industry
About the partnership
Online video consumption is becoming a big part of Vietnamese‘s digital life. In the country, Youtube is the second most visited entertainment platform and 95% of internet users watch videos daily. According to VOV in 2018, the attractive profit opportunity in Vietnam’s entertainment industry is attributed to its average growth reaching 25% per year, with the average revenue of the film industry alone reaching VND2.3 trillion (US$99.2 million) per year. We believe that partnership with Big Cat Entertainment, a major player in the content creation and talent/idols space, will bring KardiaChain one step closer to our vision of bringing about mass adoption in Vietnam.
Big Cat Entertainment will help KardiaChain identify product-market fit in the entertainment industry. Together we set out to explore various opportunities to introduce KAI to the audience and other players in this industry. Tokenizing celebrities, social mining, donation and voting on content producers are some examples of what we have been planning together.
Big Cat also provides exposure for KAI to the young and trendy audience. KardiaChain product and service placements in various content from Big Cat will boost awareness and sentiment. This demographic is tech savvy and open to new experiences.

About Big Cat Entertainment
Big Cat Entertainment was founded in 2015. The company was herald one of the fastest growing Vietnamese media startups with a revenue of over 1.2 million dollars after less than 3 months of launching, leading to its acquisition by Asia Innovation Group (AIG) in a 7-digit deal in 2016.

BIGCAT are now able to leverage KardiaChain’s cutting edge technological solution, allowing them to focus on what they do best and that is developing celebrities & social media influencers, allowing KardiaChain to gain wide exposure in the show-biz world. That means KAI holders will also benefit due to the large scale use case for KAI via idol tokenization and social mining.
Example features include, users being able to donate to their favorite celebrity, lock KAI to support the user’s favorite celebrity and earn more KAI as the celebrity grows in popularity. Another example feature would be allowing KAI holders to vote for their favorite celebrity in the monthly leaderboards. These are just a few collaboration areas and we shall be experimenting further to explore ever wider use cases for KAI in the entertainment industry.
