KardiaChain capture the telecom’s market by adding the industries three largest network providers
KAI token now available for 95% of mobile phone users in Vietnam
Last week KardiaChain proudly announced the launch of our Mobile Payment Top-up service. Thanks to this principal collaboration with Viettel, a state owned telecommunications giant, users can now “top up and lock up” with the KAI token. Taking our flagship use case to the open market with the country’s largest network provider and its 65 million customers. This of course is a development our supports are extremely excited about.

Our business development team work extremely hard behind the scenes to further our reach and capture as many mobile phone users as possible. This is because we strongly believe that our goal of mass adoption will be rapidly achieved by penetrating the vast user bases of already mass adopted services like those of the mobile phone industry.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that in addition to our collaboration with Viettel we can now offer our products to the users of Vietnam’s 2nd and 3rd largest telecommunication enterprises, Vinaphone and Mobifone. This provides more than 90 million users in Vietnam easy access to our KAI token.
Vinaphone:
VNPT VinaPhone is a member unit of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), is a key business unit and plays an important role in the value chain of VNPT Group.
VNPT VinaPhone has a business network of over 7,000 salespeople and more than 103,000 sales points across 63 cities and provinces.
Founded in 1996, Vinaphone is a subsidiary of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) operating in the field of mobile communications, providing GSM, 3G services, messaging, … and many other fields. In 2018, VinaPhone became the second largest mobile operator in Vietnam, accounting for 21% of the mobile phone market.
Vinaphone’s parent company, VNPT, is a state-owned enterprise specializing in investment, production and trading in the post and telecommunications sector in Vietnam. According to the VNR 500 — The ranking of the 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam announced in 2012, this is the 3rd largest enterprise in Vietnam, only after the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
VNPT is the №1 State Economic Group (Vietnam) in the field of Posts and Telecommunications in Vietnam, assigned by the Government of Vietnam to be the investor and the enterprise authorized to do business, operate and exploit the first satellite of Vietnam, Vinasat-1 and Vinasat-2.
Mobifone:
Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services One Member Limited Liability Company (Mobifone) is a major Vietnamese mobile network operator. Founded on 16 April 1993, as a Global System for Mobile Communications launcher, MobiFone is the first and currently third largest telecommunications provider in Vietnam.
MobiFone had a market share (estimated based on revenues) of 17.9% in 2012. Its main competitors are Viettel with 40.67% market share and Vinaphone with 30%, which is also owned by VNPT. Together, the big three control almost 90% of the market.
