“She says the Ironman Competition is in town the same week we are, and the place will be packed. Insane. Out of control.” My friend and fellow traveler, Julia, texts me the news about our trip to Juneau in August.

“Wow. Well, it’s not what we had in mind, but we can make it work.”

“Why don’t we look into going to Haines for a few days instead? Get back to Juneau to rest up for our flight out?”

“Perfect.”
