Dear friends,
it’s Karma George onboard.

There’s a storm in a glass about Binance Community Coin 6 contest (suddenly, Karma haven’t appeared at the list). People say Karma need more agressive marketing and more exchanges. Our team is overloaded with messages, emails, in public and private channels.

A picturesque description of our team’s life these days

Let’s clarify some key strategy points and unveil some tactics.

Exchanges

Our initial strategy was like “Let’s list on TOP-5 exchanges and nowhere else”. That strategy wasn’t so successful, because times has changed. It’s a huge difference between September-2017 and January-2018: less ICOs, less tokens, and even Binance was far away from the top.

It turned out that the TOP-5 exchanges listing process is totally black-boxed today. And the token team couldn’t force the listing, no matter how much application forms, money or lobbyists they have prepared. Period.

We still need to increase the KRM liquidity, so we’ve upgraded our strategy to the “exchanges with 30M USD+ daily trading volume”. During last 2 days we’ve made a list from 30+ exchanges, sent more that 15 application forms, involved several lobbyists, and continue working on it.

We will immediately inform our community about the news or signed contracts or whatever valuable info we will have about the exchanges. Please, keep calm and understand, that the team members have a lot of tokens and we’re the first guys on the planet, who are interested in new exchanges :)

Marketing

Most of the crypto “news” in social media looks like that:

  • We’ve signed an MOU with ABCXYZ, stay tuned.
  • Soon we will have a partnership with a very big company.
  • Wow, we’ve reached the top-30 in coinmarketcap
    (with 50k USD trading volume).
  • Look, there’s a photo of our CEO with Vitalik at the hotel lobby, wow.
My face while reading the Twitter

All of this activity doesn’t make sense. Even more, that hurts thousands of non-professional market participants because of this:

Typical tweet-coin price graph (coinmarketcap)

Karma is a rare example of the project with 3-year track record, open sourced Alpha delivered before the ICO end, own blockchain, dozens of nodes around the world, organic community etc. That’s a very rare combination in crypto world, especially, after only 2 months past the token sale.

We’re building a long-lasting ecosystem for dozens of years. That’s why we are now focused on these things:

  • Keep the track on Q1 development plan (we’ve built a half of this already).
  • Create real partnerships with well-known financial and governmental organisations, hedge funds, family offices, investment corporations.
  • Become a key participants in global movies and TV shows. We’ve just signed a contract with a popular TV show, Karma George will be interviewed and then published to the CNN, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Fox Business etc. Also we will make a special movie about crypto in South Korea in March (along with Ripple, GigaWatt, Blockstack, Coindesk etc.).
  • Become a keynote speakers and VIP guests at the global conferences in Russia, Dubai, Hong Kong and more.
  • Publish an articles in famous financial press.
  • And much more.

We don’t want to spread the rumors and “soon will be” messages, because that’s just a flood. Plus, most of the grown-up corporations, journalists and government officials don’t want to publish any information before some significant progress is done, contracts are signed, plans are agreed upon etc.

We want to build a great ecosystem, so we’re focusing mostly at the really important and long-lasting things.

Cheers
