How To Survive In A Year After The ICO

The year 2018 has been very impressive and complicated. There were a lot of failures, disappointments and unfulfilled expectations on the blockchain project market.

But Karma team still hits those 2% project, who haven't run away with money and haven't spent them on the conferences and market making. We are the very rare example of the blockchain project which has delivered the real world legal compliant product which is used by the people.

Here are some key milestones of 2018:

1. Karma team has grown from 4 employees to 30 high skilled specialists from top Russian companies (MOEX, Yandex, Troyka Dialog, Swiss family office, Bitrix, ADV, famous Russian banks).
2. We’ve got an office in the center of Moscow, just next to the Red Square and Kremlin in February 2018.
3. Established partnerships with Swiss Crypto Valley Association, Bloom, Glosfer, Thomson Reuters, GFC bank, Dcorp Academy.
4. In the end of May we’ve organized our own Hackathon where more than 100 developers from all over Russia were competing to win their place in our team.
5. In June KRM token has been listed on 7 new exchanges (2 of them from TOP 20 at that moment).
6. Closed beta-testing of Karma 2.0 was conducted in the middle of summer and we got around 150 queries in the tester’s white list and almost through all August and September we were working with feedbacks, improving UX and financial coresystem.
7. During first month after the launch 350 profiles of borrower and investors were created.
8. More than 1500 support tickets have been solved during last year.
9. Total amount of loans reached 1'135'000 USD.
10. The average weighted interest rate for these loans is 23,43 % in RUB, which is about 17,43 % in USD if you hedge the currency risks.
11. Karma achieved 100% return rate! It became possible because we developed smart-scoring system that is connected to 30+ databases.
12. By December 2018 Karma bought back more than 5 million KRM according to the commissions from the loan operations.

Let’s talk about our future plans for 2019

1. First of all, it is international expansion. We are in negotiations with several European and Asian partners who will help us to organize legal cross border transactions and work all legal issues out.
2. We have a lot of plans for product development. Notifications, virtual accounts, history of transactions, new payment methods — just a little part of what we’ll be focus on.
3. New blockchain. We are testing now Karma 3.0 with a new blockchain and in 2019 we will switch to it. (More information)
4. We are going to support existing interest and attract new users with huge PR and marketing campaign in Russia and other countries.
5. In Q1-Q2 we are going to launch our own mobile app to make users&platform interactions even easier.
